Product: HP Envy - 17t-ae100 CTO
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I'm trying to find a replacement battery for an HP Envy 17t-ae100 CTO and am not able to find an OEM official HP replacement. I've used the laptops serial number to search through the HP Parts Store but there isn't a battery listed in the parts list for this laptop. I haven't been able to find a replacement battery searching online either.
The battery was replaced with a third party one from Amazon but is causing a CMOS Reset (502) error when booting up the laptop without the AC adapter plugged in. I'm thinking this battery is bad and is what is causing the problem.
