Product: HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15-cx0140tx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

my laptop model is HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15-cx0140tx. I am trying to purchase battery SR03XL for this model but it is not available on hp store not even on amazon flipkart. SR04XL is found on amazon but i am not sure is it compatible with my device. So what should i do now?

You cannot use the 4-cell. This is the battery you need:

 

3 cell L08855-856

This battery is not as long (wide) as the 4 cell so be careful
