I'm searching online to buy Laptop fan with partnumber 856277-001 in France for 2.5 years old HP x360. Do i need to buy only fan or thermal Module?  whole module costing 70 euros or more DO HP directly sell parts?

Your profile says you are in the USA. You can get by with just the fan but then you have to mount the fan on the old heatsink assembly and that looks easier than it is to get it just right so it does not vibrate or click. 

 

Can we have the full model number of the laptop? This will help us locate the right manual to be sure the advice is based on the best evidence.

My Laptop Model is HP ENVY X360 15Z-AR000, i recently madesome upgrades to SSD and Battery as fan i making huge noise i wanted to replace it as well but the Fan is Attached to Heatsink and i don't see a way to separate them..  

 

Found some cheap one in USA but its costing a lot to ship to France.
