HP Recommended
Product: Presario CQ-57-339WM
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Just curious of where to find a replacement battery for my CQ-57. Tried finding it on the hp website but it wasn’t available. Are other brands good to use? I’m sure it’s recommended to use the replacement part by hp.

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.

Chapter 3, pp 20-21 have the supported batteries with their HP part numbers.

 

6-cell, 55-Whr, 2.55-Ah Li-ion battery    593554-001

 

6-cell, 47-Whr, 2.20-Ah Li-ion battery    593553-001

 

The HP parts store no longer sells them, so you would have to get an after market battery with one of the two part numbers listed.

 

I don't know what after market batteries to recommend.

 

I would search by the HP part number and find a vendor that offers at least a 1 year warranty on the battery.
