Product: HP Pavilion Gaming - 15t-dk0000 CTO

My laptop just stopped working.  It will not power on using either battery or AC power.  I asked my local guru and he guesstimates that the power circuit has failed.  The power circuit is integral to the motherboard.  In order to find a new MoBo, I need the HP's product number for the board but I can find no such info on HP's web site.  Suggestions?

Sure, we have usually have suggestions galore.

 

Your HP Gaming Pavilion - 15t-dk0000 (6ZK41EA), at least according to: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06414900 and: https://partsurfer.hp.com/partsurfer/?searchtext=HP%20Gaming%2015t-dk0000, has five different motherboard versions, with part numbers:


L58862-601 "MOTHERBOARD DSC GTX 1050 3GB i5-9300H WIN"
L58864-601 "MOTHERBOARD DSC GTX 1650 4GB i5-9300H WIN"
L58865-601 "MOTHERBOARD DSC GTX 1650 4GB i7-9750H WIN"
L58866-601 "MOTHERBOARD DSC GTX 1660 6GB i5-9300H WIN"
L58867-601 "MOTHERBOARD DSC GTX 1660 6GB i7-9750H WIN"

 

In short, these (used) motherboards are rather expensive -that is, if you can find them at all. To illustrate this, the least expensive motherboard that I could locate via eBay ($336), is the first option (p/n: L58862-601): For HP 15-DK L58862-601 FPC52 LA-H461P Motherboard i5-9300H CPU GTX1050 3G GPU | eBay.

 

Maybe you can find less expensive options, such as via AliExpress.
