HP Notebook - 15-ba052au
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Per the Specs, it says SATA-3 , but the socket on the M/B is shaped 1 small and 1 large pins NVME type socket?? So Can this board ONLY support SATA Sticks or will it take my NVME Gen4x4 stick if i have to add drivers from SK Hynix?  When start Win 10 Install, it says no HD found and install drivers?  If is only SATA why didnt they have a SATA Socket..   2 small and 1 large pins??

Bit confused...

M.2 NVNe won't work. You have to use M.2 SATA-3

Many thanks, i thought that be the case as it was around 2015 ish . BUT why did they install the NVME looking socket if only SATA sticks will work on this Laptop?  When i saw that socket, i though it can take NVME and bought one!!  and it cant see it obviously. hmm
