Hello 

 

Which M.2 SSD SATA-III is supported in HP ProBook 450 g4

 

1. i found 2 shapes and not sure which one is compatible with my notebook

2. does HP ProBook 450 g4 support a HDD 2.5 inch coexists with this SSD to operate at the same time

Here is the Service Manual. If you open the access door on the bottom, right next to the hard drive is an M.2 slot. The laptop can only support SATA-3 type 2280 form factor M.2 disks. And even though the M.2 slot has two chambers and looks like only the disk on the right in your post would fit, you actually need the 3 prong type on the left. Note the width of the two connectors with gold pins is the same on both types and the three prongs on the SATA M.2 fit inside the 2 chambers in the slot.

And yes you can have a hard drive and an M.2 disk at the same time. 

 

This is a good SATA-3 2280 form factor M.2 disk and would work fine for you as would numerous similar devices.
