Yours is a Pentium notebook with non touch screen and 2gb discrete graphics system
One slot available. Max 8gb. Replace 4gb with 8gb stick of exact configuration, speed, voltage as old one and that given in the manual.
DDR3L PC3L 12800 1600MHz 1.35V SO-DIMM SDRAM
Crucial, Hynix, Samsung, Kingston are good brands.

You're very welcome.
No there is no secondary drive bay.
HDD can be upgraded to 2.5 SATA 7mm SSD.
You can first upgrade HDD to SSD in primary SATA bay slot. So that SSD will be boot drive. Clean install OS to SSD after replacement.
Then move this old HDD to optical drive bay area (at present no optical drive in here) using this caddy, and use HDD as storage alone :

You need optical drive board part to connect it to the motherboard. Page 58 in the manual.
Optical drive connector board (includes cable) : 855007-001

There is not much disassembly to do. Just follow that video to take out base enclosure.
Take out HDD, put in SSD. Get the optical bay caddy, put in HDD in it, connect it to the board.
I want to warn you that if you're within warranty, and in the process of disassembly upgrade if something breaks, HP wouldn't honor the warranty. I would get help from HP authorised service center and request them to do it. But I doubt they would do this within warranty period.
