Hello Friends,
I am using an HP 2000-2200 Notebook PC series which runs on Windows 8 and with a current memory of 2 GB. I want to buy and additional 4 GB RAM for better performance. I have the following 2 questions
- How do I know what is the maximum RAM capacity supported in the notebook?
- I want to purchase this RAM ; will it be compatible to my Notebook? if not which one to purchase?
I have also attached a picture of the current RAM which is installed at this moment.

Hi:
The memory currently installed is DDR3L-1600 MHz (1.35V), and the memory you want to buy is DDR3-1333 MHz (1.5V).
I recommend that you buy a compatible 4 GB DDR3L-1600 1.35V memory module.
The above memory is made by the same company as the original memory chip HP installed.
Crucial memory is the retail memory division of Micron.
Your notebook can support 2 x 4 GB of memory.
Below is the link to the service manual...the memory upgrade info can be found in chapter 1.
