Hi:

It is very hard to find the right memory that works in HP notebooks with the Intel 1st gen core processors.

You can see this discussion...it is the same for any HP notebook like yours.

Solved: Memory upgrade 6550b - HP Support Community - 5340551

I would go with this 4 GB chip...at least this model seems to meet all of the characteristics of memory that should work.

Amazon.in: Buy hynix HMT351S6BFR8C 4GB DDR3 PC3-10600 1333MHz Non-ECC Unbuffered CL9 1.5V Dual Rank ...

Below is the link to the service manual.  The memory upgrade info can be found in chapter 1.

Your notebook can support up to 2 x 4 GB of memory, so if that memory chip works, and you want to max it out to the full 8 GB, buy another one.

Tq for your help. I will check this works or not 😁. Btw I will remove the one gb and replace it with this for a total of 6gb ram.

Btw, my processor is - Intel core  i3 3rd gen m370. Because you mentioned "1st Gen" in your answer. See this pls.

And I made a new decision. I will max it out with two 4gb Rams. It will work I think

Yes, your notebook's processor is a 1st generation Intel core processor, and your notebook has the Mobile Intel Series 5 chipset.
