Hi:
HP only has the maintenance & service guide for the older 15s-du models on your notebook's support page.
HP 15s-du1000 Laptop PC series Manuals | HP® Customer Support
According to chapter 1 of the manual, the M.2 slot supports both SATA and NVMe SSD's.
So, your notebook should also support a NVMe SSD as well.
