Those are the same hardware, really and are some of the better mechanical hard drives on the market. If you want better speed then do not install a mechanical drive, install a solid state drive.

Those are the same basic product....either will be fine for a storage drive. Same performance.

Where are you getting this? Specs I see say both are SATA 3- 6 gbps. If one is in fact SATA 2- 3 gbps don't buy it get the SATA 3.

Seagates are great. Get the one you think is SATA 3 6 gbps and you will be fine. Can't really go wrong. No hard drive manufacturer makes a bad product. It is now a fully mature industry.
