Hi,
I've been looking to connect two external monitors to my laptop via docking station and I can't understand if my USB-C port is capable of doing that. In product specifications I see:
(1 SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 10Gbps signaling rate (USB Power Delivery, DisplayPort™ 1.4, HP Sleep and Charge)) If I understand correctly, this means I can stream video over USB Type C?
But beside USB-C port I see only SS prefix printed, which indicates that this connection can only 5GB/s, or not? I thought there should be a trident symbol with SS prefix and tiny 10 printed above the prongs.
Thank you.
P.S. If you were in my shoes, how would you connect those two displays to laptop with minimal costs? Maybe I don't need docking station at all?

Given it had 1 SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 10Gbps signaling rate (USB Power Delivery, DisplayPort™ 1.4, HP Sleep and Charge) port, it is a good candidate for an HP USB-C G5 (5TW10AA) dock which allows you to connect to 3 external monitors (depending on total resolution) and the dock also can charge your machine at the same time.
Regards.
