My HP laptop(15-fd0000794 is too slow. What SSD do I need to buy?

What notebook are you referring to?

 

The 15-bs234wm or the 15-fdxxxxx?

 

You need to post the correct model number for the 15-fd because some of those 15-fd models come with a 128 GB UFS storage drives which cannot be upgraded.
