You're very welcome.

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.

HP 250 G6 Notebook PC Maintenance and Service Guide

Chapter 1 has the supported drive types.

The parts list for your notebook's product number indicates that it came with a 500 GB 2.5" mechanical hard drive.

You can replace that drive with a 2.5" SATA SSD in a storage capacity that meets your needs and budget.

The service manual also indicates that M.2 2280 SATA SSD's were offered in the model series, but what I don't know is if your notebook, since it came with a 2.5" hard drive, actually has the M.2 SATA SSD slot as well.

Usually models from that time period only had the M.2 slot if the notebook came with a M.2 SATA SSD from the factory.

If you were interested in installing a SATA M.2 SSD instead of a 2.5" drive, open up the notebook and confirm the M.2 SSD slot is there before buying a M.2 SATA SSD.

NVMe M.2 SSD's are not supported in the 250 G6 model series.

This discussion appears to indicate that a M.2 SATA SSD slot is not installed.

Hi:

That is the model of the Wi-Fi adapter your notebook comes with, not the model number of your notebook.

Please use this guide for how to find the model number/product number of your notebook:
