Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a hp 15-bs164tu laptop and want to add an m.2 ssd since it has empty slot and my HDD is very slow. But I am confused which m.2 2280 ssd to buy. M.2 SATA or will it also support M.2 Nvme too. I want the Nvme ssd but I am hesitant that whether it will support or not. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi:

 

Your notebook's M.2 slot supports SATA SSD's only, not NVMe.

 

See chapter 1 of the service manual for the supported drive types...SATA only.
