Which motherboards are compatible?

My computer completely quit working the other night, and when I showed it to a PC repair man he told me I need a new motherboard. He said I can look up my model number to find two different motherboards I can choose from, but I have no idea what other board could be compatible with my system. Ideally I would like to upgrade to a board with a better processor.  Can anyone help with finding which boards I can use?

These are the ones compatible with your motherboard as you can see on page 74 of service manual

so at the moment you have the 854945-601

Thanks a lot, that pretty much answers my question. But I'm left with one more-- how did you find the "601" number for my motherboard? the list of compatible motherboards ends with -xx1. im not able to find the other boards on ebay without the -xx1 number. how do I find that?

601 means it had windows 10 key in firmware

001 is without the key, so it will not automatically activate.

You can use both, so just replace XX1 with 001 or 601.
