My laptop name- HP 255 G8 Notebook PC (3K1G7PA)
Specs-
Processor
AMD Ryzen™ 5 3500U (2.1 GHz base clock, up to 3.7 GHz max boost clock, 4 MB L3 cache, 4 cores)
Memory
8 GB DDR4-2400 MHz RAM (1 x 8 GB) Transfer rates up to 2400 MT/s.
Memory Slots
1 SODIMM
Internal drive
1 TB 5400 rpm SATA HDD
So, I want to upgrade the RAM, please suggest the best compatible RAM, 8 GB or 16 GB with names!

I'd go with this one:
The DDR4-2666 MHz memory will automatically bridge to 2400 MHz CL17, because that is as fast as your notebook's processor can run the memory at.
