Please help. I've spent an hour trying to figure out what type of replacement battery I need, with no luck. I know it shouldn't be this hard.

According to your Service Guide- http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06140017.pdf  it use HP Part number 920070-856 

 

The Service Guide also has the procedures needed to replace the battery.
