Hello all,

 

Hope everyone is doing fine. Actually I am planning to upgrade my laptop to 250GB SSD and use the HDD in caddy and caddy has two size 12.7mm and 9.5mm but I don't have any idea about my DVD ROM thickness. So, it will be great if you guys can help me and is there anything else that I should keep in mind before doing this upgradation.

Hi,

The thickness is 9.5mm

You should inert the old hard drive in the caddy and the new SSD in place of the HDD

Then install the OS on the SSD.

Here is the service manual:
