Hi,
I want to upgrade my RAM and am wondering if I can put in a memory stick that has a higher speed.
At the moment it has an 8GB memory stick with a speed of 2133Mhz.
If so, which are compatible with my HP Pavilion Laptop 14-bk0xx laptop?
Thanks,
Andy

You're very welcome.
Yes, the faster speed memory will work just fine for you.
This would be the compatible 8 GB memory chip I recommend for your notebook...

Hi, Andy:
What model processor does your notebook have?
All of the processors I see listed in the service manual can only run the memory at a max speed of 2133 MHz.
You can install DDR4-2400 or faster memory but it is only going to run at 2133 MHz if your notebook has one of the Intel processors listed in chapter 1 of the service manual.

Hi Paul,
Thanks for your reply.
My laptop has an Intel i5-7200U CPU @2.50GHZ
I`ll have a look in the link you gave if I can use a 2400Mhz . It`s ok if it runs at the normal speed, It is just that this is the one I have available.
