In prospectes page 46 

For the model  BC400~499 its upgrage only 128 gb . Is that true or not ? Plg replay ...

No. The Manual does not try to say what CAN be installed just lists what HP installs from the factory. The -bc4xx series has an NVME M.2 slot or it could not use an Optane module. There is no capacity limit so you can install as large a PCIe/NVME M.2 as you can find to buy. I recommend Samsung 970 Evo Plus.

Size doesn't matter.no matter how large ssd drive.

No it can do NVME OR SATA M.2 but if you can use NVME I would see no reason to have a SATA M.2 unless you can get one for free.

 BC406TX  supports both M.2 sata and nvme.

  I have BC406TX and I recently installed M.2 SSD in it

Previously my laptop's booting time and others were dead slow. now, everything is working smoothly, and boot time has come down to 15sec.
