Which type of SSD?

Hi

I’m looking to install a SSD into my notebook. 

Does anyone know for sure which types of SSD can be installed in this model?

m.2 sata? nvme?

Hi,

The service manual mentions M2 slot with support for M2 SATA3 SSD such as the M2 Samsung 860 Evo or similar.

On page 29 of service manual you can see the steps to remove bottom cover and check if the actual slot is present on motherboard, as sometimes notebooks that did not come with M2 SSD are missing the physical slot.

I’ll probably go with the Samsung EVO as I’ve read it has a great migration tool.  

I’m going to be switching my notebook & desktop over to SSD’s very shortly.
