Hello,

So my HP Pavilion recently had these white lines show up on the display. As seen in picture and video (https://imgur.com/a/wgCg30y), the lines flicker on and off until they stay on the screen. Whenever I have the laptop screen off (either by shutdown, reset, or have the video routing to only external monitor) and turn the screen back on (display setting to use the laptop screen), the flickers/ lines go away but they eventually come back. System is up to date with updates and drivers. I don't think it is a software issue but a hardware one. Display screen and touch works whenever the lines are not there.

My main question is if this is a display panel cable connection that finally went bad or if this is a larger issue like something related to the motherboard or graphics card? If it is a cable issue, then can this be ordered and replaced? I just don't know where to look or start to identify issue.
