HP Probook 450 G1
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a Probook 450 G1. I think it was made in 2013. It handles the newest Windows 10 just great!

However, I lost my charge cord in a park. I thought there were many suppliers by mail, but when I did some checking, it turns out these electrical plug connections are fairly rare.

My search for original HP equipment lead me to this forum.  If it helps, the product number starts out: "G1Q53UT..."

Who sells them?

Hi:

Below is the link to the parts list for your notebook.

https://partsurfer.hp.com/Search.aspx?searchText=G1Q53UT

The charger and power cord that goes from the wall socket to the power adapter are sold separately.

If it were me, I would go on eBay, do a search by the HP part number for the charger and buy a genuine used but tested and working charger that comes with the power cord.

I see a listing for an OEM charger with the cord for $12.71.

https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=693712-001&_sacat=0&_sop=15

Otherwise you will have to buy new from the HP parts store and they cost a fortune...$63.76 for the adapter, and $22.95 for the power cord...

Thanks for checking.

I see the ebay item, priced $12.71 is called "OEM HP Pavilion G7-2000 AC Power Adapter 90W 19.5V 4.62A 677777-003 693712-001"

This says "Pavillion G7" and yet Mine is a Probook G1.

So you can verify that this is the correct one?

You're very welcome.

HP uses the same part numbers for multiple notebooks.

The part number listed in the part surfer website for your notebook's charger is 693712-001.

The one in the eBay listing also references part # 693712-001, so it should work.

If you search by the part number, you will find multiple listings for these parts.

This one indicates it is for an Elitebook for example.

The sellers are probably describing the adapter based on what notebook they recycled it from.
