Hello!

Here https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01297640 it mentions "Under normal usage, batteries should be calibrated a minimum of once every two to three months. However, a battery that is rarely discharged fully should be calibrated about once a month" .

Any tricks to extend this duration? Like plug/unplug alternatively at a specific charge?

My battery dies at 30-40%, meaning I have to carry my charger cause I don't know when the battery is gonna let me down 😐

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

To get the answer to this question, Manufacturers generally recommend calibrating the battery every 2-3 months to keep your battery readings accurate.

The battery capacity will decrease as a result of unavoidable factors like typical usage and battery charge cycle.
