You must indicate your complete model the SKU that has this form ASDFG#ABC, and be able to verify if the USB-C port of your notebook is DisplayPort compatible.

It does not have USB-C port compatible with DP, so it does not see image, only HDMI can be used.

Thanks, my other monitor works with HDMI, can i get some sort of adaptor to use so i can connect my other monitor so i can use two monitors at the same time ? i dont want them to share the same screen on both, i want to use the two with different web pages email etc?

That is not possible you can only use your HDMI port, to use USB-C port you must buy a DisplayLink compatible dock (see is not DisplayPort), these dock through software and hardware allow you to use the USB-C or USB-A port, I leave the link to see the models and decide which one you want to buy.
