HP does a great job in making sure that service manuals and videos are avaliable. However, I have never seen a computer company doing so poorly in part avaliability. For example, I was trying to purchase M83410-001 for Omen 16.1 c0xxx, which was release quite a while ago. However, the part is unavaliable through HP part store, and neither could I find it online. In fact, other than SSD/RAM/Adapters, almost every component of this laptop is not avaliable on the HP part store. Same could be said for newer version of Omen 16.

It's such a pity that HP spent so much effort in making support manuals and videos, and we are just not able to order the parts that we need to replace it.

Does anyone have any clue as to why this happens with HP? Back when I was using a Lenovo laptop, I had no trouble ordering replacement parts and batteries from their store.

Unfortunately true. HP seems to only stock replacement parts for a limited time. I think it is because HP makes so many different models of computers; many times more different models than Lenovo, for example.

The part you ask about is a display cable, right? It is for the 165hz display.

My guess is this was a very low volume production run. I usually can find about any part but coming up with nothing here.

Sorry
