Hi:
You can't upgrade the Wi-Fi card in your notebook since it has a BIOS whitelist which prevents any other model card from working other than the one that came with your notebook.
In addition to that, the card you buy must have the HP part number on the 'Replace with HP Spare' label or it won't work.
Below is the link to the parts list for your notebook:
It comes with a Realtek 8188GN PCIe Half Mini Card (HMC) Wi-Fi adapter, HP part # 640926-001.
That card really isn't supported for W10 and since you can't install any other model, I suggest you use a dual band USB wifi adapter that would have no restrictions.
I use this one for my HP desktop mini PC.
It is dual band and even has Bluetooth and doesn't stick out of the USB port very far.
If you want to try replacing the internal card since it may be defective, you may be able to find one on eBay.
Search by the HP part number, and make sure you find one that shows an actual picture of the card with the HP part number on it.
