Just where do you propose to use the antennae without performing major modifications to your laptop's case?
The antennas must have the same impedance value (Z) as the original.
A better option would be to use an external USB wifi adapter.

You can look up impedance or impedance value on the internet.
Antennas have (Z) impedance and it must be a match for the transceiver.
This is radio communications theory and it is well above the intended scope of the HP Community forum.
The impedance (Z) value of the antennae have to be 50 ohms.
If is not, the reflection coefficient of the antenna is increased and the impedance is not matched to the wifi transceiver impedance.
There are negative results of mismatched impedance.
There will be a high voltage standing wave ratio. That will result in the wifi transmissions being reflected back into the antenna coax and not being transmitted.
Frequency shifting will likely occur. That will result in dropped packets.
This is why you should probably purchase a prebuilt USB wifi adapter instead of trying to create your own. They are inexpensive.
It is antenna or antennae, not "antina".
If you want to make a long range antenna on your own, consider making a wifi Cantenna.
