Hey Guys first time here cus i have no clue where else to get help.
For many Years i own a Pavilion sv 6 - 6b18sg Prod.number (A6L92EA#ABD) Ser.numver 2CE1431PCY and i was happy.
Now after the Upgrade to Win 10 Pro 64bit my wireless driver shows more and more issues.
I upgraded like 2 months ago, and it started with disconnected wifi which i had to manually connect or wait at least an hour...
Sometimes the whole system just froze and the physical wifi button started to blink red and didn´t react at all.
Yesterday it happend again and after hard reset with the powerbutton i restarted the system and i got the message,
wifi module not supported, pls remove and restart and so on .
Luckily, my system bootet with no flaws after another reboot, but it keeps getting worse and worse.
i guesse Hp doesn´t update drivers for such old hardware cus i can´t event find drivers for Win 10, even after the detection tool identifis my Laptop. So there are basicly no "newer" driver for such old tech.
I toyed with the thouhgt of upgrading my Wireless module (Broadcom 4313GN) for a long time, but this whole Wifi whitelist thing was always a discureging thing. I don´t even know if i can upgrade to ANY other module, in the Manuell is no other modul listed.
On my wifi module is writen to replace it with a 593836-001 from Hp Spare // 8k11A0, but it´s basicly the same thing i have as much as i can see it... and official informations are a rare thing soo...
Is there any hope for my still A+ running old Lady, or am i doomed to get rid of wifi and use LAN only or getting "newer" Tech : /
Sry for the misspells, english is not my first language
Grateful for any suggestions

You do have a whitelist issue on that laptop so your upgrade or replace options on the wifi card are extremely limited. This is about the best one:
Intel Centrino Wireless-N + WiMAX 6150 633817-001
It has to have the HP Part number or it will not work.

This is a 2.4 ghz only and is not Bluetooth so not optimal but it is a decent wireless card and should fix your freezing issues. As @banhien suggests, usb might be the best way to go.

Firstly your machine was manufactured around second half of year 2011. HP Windows 10 cut off time for machines is August 2013 therefore your machine does not have full Windows 10 support.
Secondary due to the whitelist in BIOS, the chance to upgrade wifi card to newer card is very slim to none. You can use USB options

My experience: last week, for testing, I bought the following wifi card for my 11 years old machine
https://www.scorptec.com.au/product/Networking/Adapters/60514-7265.NGWWB.W
Unfortunately my machine uses different format, not M.2, physically won't fit, therefore I went to the shop and swap to the following one (I did not have to pay more, they are same price):
https://www.scorptec.com.au/product/Networking/Adapters/67965-USB-AC53-NANO
And it works perfectly, get same result (download speed) with the 1G wired on same machine.
Regards.
