I need your help.
I bought in 2022 an HP envy x360, that was released in 2020. It was already the last they had in store of that model. The warranty (including extended warranty) ended THIS YEAR, around may - june. And THIS OCTOBER the laptop gave me my very first problem. I went to the store where i bought the laptop and they told me to call the insurance company. I did and they didn't want to do anything. Called a second time. Same answer. With no other choice i went to check with a professional technician and at first they thought it was just the keyboard, but now, after a deeper dive into it they found out it was the screen too. To specify, the problems are the pieces of keyboard getting stuck and "ghost clicks" on the screen. We are talking about probably more than 500€ of repair on top of an almost 1.000€ laptop.
I've never let the laptop fall, never had anything hit it, never had food or liquids even near it. My devices are all well kept and taken care of, and have lasted me years and years without needing any repairs. Never ever.
This is the first time something like this happened. Help.

@M625, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

I’m really sorry to hear about the issues with your HP Envy x360. It sounds frustrating, especially since you’ve taken great care of the laptop.

Since the problem seems to be more than just the keyboard, I suggest taking it to an authorized HP service center for a more thorough inspection. They can give you a clearer diagnosis and repair estimate.

Let me know how you'd like to move forward, and I’ll be happy to help!

Take care and have a good day.
