Product: HP ZBook Fury 17.3 inch G8 Mobile Workstation PC (4N4Y1AV)
Getting ready to take a vacation with the fam. Since the OEM power supply of my ZBook Fury 17 G8 is 200 watts, I'm wondering if a 200-watt inverter is sufficient to power my laptop during the car ride, or if I'm better off just using my ZBook's battery and recharging it via USB-C while I'm not using the unit. Yeah, I know that the cheaper inverters don't produce a pure sine wave current, but the 200-watt models I'm looking at least have overload protection and their own dedicated fuses. Is this an acceptable way to go? I'm not going to fry my laptop or its graphics card, am I? Thanks.
