OMEN by HP Transcend 16 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-u0000 (765S3AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

I am wanting to upgrade my Omen Transcend Laptop 16-u0078nr from the 1T SSD to a larger Samsung 990 Pro 4T SSD.  In the documentation I only see support to a 2T drive.  Will this laptop have any issues upgrading to 4T?

Thanks

It is a double sided SSD, its thickness would NOT physically fit. More info

Looking at the document, it says it is single sided.

"Thanks to Samsung’s V8 1Tb high-density NAND and the company’s memory stacking technology, the 4TB 990 PRO was designed with a single-sided M.2 form factor, which makes it slimmer than other double-sided M.2 SSDs[5]. This frees users from the concerns that double-sided M.2 SSDs can cause when installed into ultra-thin laptops, such as an inability to install the SSD or the risk of damaging other components. With a single-sided M.2 form factor, the streamlined design provides abundant storage capacity and sustainable performance."

Am I reading this wrong?
