Hi, I'm brand new, I'm buying this from best buy as a home pc for a quest 2. It's intended to stream games and do both unnecessary and necessary things, file management ect. I didnt look enough I guess, I'm learning...but now im running into the question of the graphics card and or programming. Some say it's fine, others say its not going to work at all meta is stuck on default nothing in the world can ever work exept what they give.if I do have to upgrade it, is it wothwhile?
I cant say I am now capable of my own work yet. But I'm trying to understand, any advice would be appreciated as I still have time to cancel it and go in a different direction. Thank you

You do have a USB-C port with Thunderbolt so an eGPU is a possibility. You are going to find that if you add the cost of the laptop and the whole eGPU setup you probably could have purchased a gaming laptop to begin with. Video cards have gotten insanely expensive and you need a good desktop type video card and an eGPU dock and a power supply and external monitor for an eGPU setup. Good luck. Any further questions, post back.

It is a good machine for business but not for games. You can play light games on it but not high end games. It does not have video card to run Quest 2 game:

Thank you this is a first time thing, **bleep**, is....the rest of the system..
Do you see any practical external solutions. I just dont have what these gaming laptops are going for....does anyone think there is a ...external video card...assembly setup thing to take up the problem? Dumb question
I blew most of my black Friday budget I guess I focused on the wrong stuff thank you
