Will increasing the RAM make my laptop better equipped to handle graphic design work?
Its currently struggling with anything more than basic design jobs. I know I cant add a graphics card, but would increasing the RAM make things better, or is it simply not worth it and I should just invest in a new laptop?
Thanks

Hi:
Adding memory probably would not help significantly if you are running programs that require heavy graphics demands.
You might get a little more shared system memory to go to the graphics, but that would be about it.
A premium processor and graphics adapter are what you need for graphics work.
The 250 G6 can support up to 2 x 8 GB of memory if it has an Intel core processor and 1 x 8 GB if it has a Celeron processor.
You may want to look into one of the HP Elitebook models or zBook mobile workstations.
