Does the HP 17-x137cl (x7x01ua) work with crucial p2 1tb 3D NAND NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD

Hi:

 

I do not believe that your PC has a M.2 slot since it did not come from HP with a M.2 drive.

 

Chapter 1 of the service manual indicates that notebooks with M.2 slots support SATA drives only, not NVMe.

 

Chapter 3 of the service manual indicates the following parts are needed to add a SSD if a M.2 slot is not present...

 

(11) Solid-state drive board  856614-001

(13) Solid-state drive holder 858260-001

The crucial memory/SSD report for your notebook only shows 2.5" SSD's as options.
