So for a while I had an ok game performance and today I noticed what could improve it but I hate to use it. I noticed I always had "battery saving mode" on cause I didnt want to have a high power usage show up in the power bill. So I have had it there for a few months. I want to improve my laptop performance but not at the cost of a high power bill. Should I switch it on? Or should I keep it in batery saving?

Yes, you need more power to run performance mode. It does make sense doesn't it.
