Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

The laptop does not recognize USB storage sticks when they’re plugged in. When I go to device manager, I see that the drivers are in error and When I search for drivers, there are non-compatible. there  I’m hoping the community can point me to drivers that may be compatible my model of laptop.

Your laptop is getting a bit old, and is not supported by HP to run Windows 11. You can try the Windows 10 driver here- https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/details/hp-17-by0000-laptop-pc/model/22185741
