HP Envy 15-j050us
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I just ran the WIn11 compatibility test and found that my HP Envy 15-j050us laptop's CPU isn't supported and it requires TPM (a security feature of Microsoft).  I suspect assuming I can do anything to get compatible with Win11, I would need a new motherboard/CPU or a CPU with TPM built in, so I'm trying to determine whether there are any CPU/motherboard upgrades available for my current laptop OR whether I stay on Win10.  My current CPU is Intel I7-4700MQ that I think is socketed.  Thanks in advance!

Hi:

There are no motherboards that would fit your PC that would make it capable of getting the upgrade to W11.

If you are willing to clean install W11, you should be able to get it to work.

I'm running W11 on an old HP 8200 Elite with an i7-2600 processor and it works fine.
