Product: HP notebook

I am trying to download the latest windows 10 update, however, I have been stuck on 14% for about 45 minutes, ive checked my update history and it says failed update for windows 10, and now I cant stop my laptop from "continuing" the update, but the bar isn't moving.

What EXACTLY is your machine ? Please try the following way:

 

(a) Using the following link to download ISO file   
               https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

(b) Mount ISO file as a DVD,

(c) Run Setup (as shown)

    

     mount.png

   

Note: you need to select  Keep use files and programs otherwise it will remove them all.
