I also just recently bought this same laptop for business 2 days ago. Currently have McAfee for virus scan, updated all the Windows, and HP Bios etc. The start-up for this is absolutely brutal, especially with the type of processing power this is supposed to have. It takes close to 10 minutes for this to load after the initial sign in screen. What can be done to correct this!?

HP has just released a patch to address this issue.List of models it applies to:
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp81501-82000/sp81965.html
Wait 5-10 minutes for black screen to move on to desktop and install the patch.
Patch download:
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp81501-82000/sp81965.exe
