Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Windows 11 Compatibility Test Reports the CPU in my HP-Envy 17" Laptop is not supported.  All of the other groups checked OK.

If the only issue is the CPU, it would be fairly simple if the CPU could be changed.  Does anyone know if the CPU in an HP-Envy with an i7-7500U 2-Core CPU can be upgraded?

The specs of your machine is

It has Intel® Core™ i7-7500U which does not meet CPU requirement for Windows 11 (from Intel 8xxx up). You still can upgrade to Windows 11 if you wish using

                       

                Installing Windows 11 on devices that don't meet minimum system requirements
