Product: HP 14 inch Laptop PC 14-f1000 (2L1B0AV)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

To start, I have no idea why HP picks my serial number up as a 14-f1000 when my laptop itself says its a dq1025nr. Anyway, I need to find a better wireless card for this notebook. Speeds in the room right next to the one with the router reach 400 mb/s download speed. In the kitchen it only creeps to 2 mb/s download.

 

Current adapter is a Realtek RTL8852AE WiFi 6 802.11ax PCIe Adapter. What can I slap in this baddie to make it speedy? Preferably dual band.

Hi:

 

Before swapping out the Wi-Fi card, see if updating the Wi-Fi driver to the latest version helps any.

If that doesn't help any, see if this model Wi-Fi card will work any better.

 

Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 802.11ax 2 × 2 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 5 (non-vPro)   HP part # L35282-005

 

You should be able to find this model card on eBay.

 

Search by the HP part number not the model of the Wi-Fi card.
