I have an EliteBook 840 G1 when booting up shows the message, "The system has detected that a wireless module installed in the system is not supported and disabled it". WWAN Module ID (703). This message just started coming up recently every time the laptop is booted up. The laptop was purchased new 2 years ago and no additional hardware has been installed. I have looked online for solutions but everything I have read refers to new hardware being installed. I installed the newest bios to see if that would fix the problem, but i still get the same message at startup. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hello,
I have the same problem, I DO NOT HAVE the wwan module installed.
My laptop is HP Probook 6560B.
Upgrade Bios latest version.
I had an option in the bios that enabled to activate or not this module.
This option has disappeared!
An idea?
Thank
