There is no on-off switch for the mouse as discussed in comments under this video.

Please return the mouse power setting back to where the computer can turn the mouse off.

There is some other problem.  If you do not move the mouse it should turn off eventually.  I do not know the time period but if it does not turn off then try to return the mouse for a refund.

Anything over 30 minutes of no motion it should have turned off.

See if you can get a mouse with an on/off button. If in your budget get an "anywhere" type mouse that is rechargeable.

Bring up the mouse properties and uncheck Allow this device to wake up the computer

-> device manager

I have claimed warranty and exchanged it and new mouse is working fine.

Mine did the same thing.

The last time the batteries died - I inserted new ones - watching proper placement - and the mouse didn't work.

I went to take the batteries out and they were extremely hot after being in for less than 30 seconds.

Tried new batteries - but same thing.

Had to switch back to a wired mouse.

I have model: HSA-A002M
