Omen 15-ek0013dx

Hey I bought a Wi-Fi m.2 wireless module card. I opened my laptop but could not find it anywhere. Does anyone know the location of the wireless module on an Omen 15-ek0013dx

Hi:

Your notebook is one of those unusual models where the Wi-Fi card is an integral part of the motherboard and cannot be removed or upgraded.

If you look at chapter 3 of the service manual, you will find no part number or description for a Wi-Fi card.

If you look at chapter 5, page 49 of the service manual, you will find a step in removing the motherboard that calls for detaching the Wi-Fi antenna wires from the integrated Wi-Fi adapter.

Thank you for that reply. I disassembled everything in my laptop cause I couldn’t find a definitive answer online. I thought I was blind and was missing it entirely, thanks again for your help.

You're very welcome.

I guess that if you locate where the 2 antenna wires attach to, you will find the location of the integrated wifi adapter.
