Product: HP ENVY x360 - 15-cn0008ca
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Wondering if HP ENVY x360 - 15-cn0008ca's RAM can be upgraded to 16GB.

 

The configuration as it is sold comes with 8GB of RAM, and I was wondering if I could manually upgrade it to 16GB after purchase. I chatted with customer service but they gave me different info each time.

 

Ideally I want to add 8GB to have it be dual channel. I also tried to find the Maintenance and Service manual but could not for this product.

 

It is listed as compatible here:

However I want to verify before I purchase this notebook.

You can't find manuals for EACH machine but you can find manuals for the whole series:

 

     https://support.hp.com/au-en/product/hp-envy-15-cn0000-x360-convertible-pc/20270292/manuals

 

The list contains a manual called Maintenance and Service Guide which is the one I normally call it as "bible". You can use RAM from Crucial as from your link. I can only say

 

Warning : This work is for Authorized Service Provider parts only. Doing it yourself may void warranty if something went wrong due to this upgrade.
