I did not mean "open another thread" when I asked you to help make it make sense in a sentence.
How do you know that HP delivered the wrong power adapter with your laptop?
Was it in the box with the laptop?
No one can help you if you do not identify your HP laptop.
When logged into Windows, hold down the Windows key and tap the R key once.
That will open the Windows run dialogue
Type in msinfo32 and press enter.
The ninth line is the SKU and the HP product number. Kindly post it in your next reply in your thread.
The System SKU/Product ID will enable us to determine the hardware configuration of your notebook.
If you can't log into Windows, look on the bottom of your notebook for that information.
If you have a desktop look at the rear of your PC

It came in the box. I can identify my Hp. I just can't write my product number here like that too. Its so hard getting a customer support here to talk too and the solutions the one on IG is giving me is useless. I'd just return it back to website I bought it on. Thanks for your time

Here in the forum if you want assistance there is no way around identifying your PC.
Every one else does that so we can help.
It takes an understanding off the hardware configuration of an HP product, including the power adapter, to assist someone.
