Wty: HP HW Maintenance Offsite Support

Hello!

I'm here to ask if my laptop, which is under the 'Wty: HP HW Maintenance Offsite Support' warranty would be able to get this repair done.

I opened up my screen to find a small crack in the top left-hand corner. Whenever I want to try and use laptop mode or pen mode, it sort of picks up the crack as an input and nowhere else. 

Would the warranty cover something like that?

There's a small chance that HP may claim this as accidental damage which is user induced damage, damage not covered under standard hardware warranty, but since this isn't official HP support, you'll need to contact HP for a concrete answer.
